CPA High Rejection Technology

The CPA membrane series is based on composite polyamide technology developed for high-rejection reverse osmosis applications. Its high rejection characteristics make it suitable for applications requiring significant reduction of dissolved salts and other dissolved contaminants.

The CPA3-LD configuration is designed for applications where reduced colloidal and biological fouling characteristics are required, subject to appropriate feed-water pretreatment and operating conditions.

Important Operating Considerations

For optimum membrane performance and service life, feed water should be properly pretreated. Free chlorine and other oxidizing agents can damage polyamide RO membranes, so suitable pretreatment and dechlorination should be provided where required.

Actual permeate flow, salt rejection, recovery, and membrane life depend on feed-water quality, temperature, pressure, recovery rate, pretreatment, and system operating conditions.
